Obituary for John Ebenezer Peters John Ebenezer Peters
Air Force Veteran Was Owner Of Hi-Line Machine Shop

Mr. John Ebenezer Peters, age 79, of Covington, Virginia died Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the Brian Center Nursing Care, Low Moor.

He was the husband of the late Betty Joyce Bush Peters.

Mr. Peters was born April 14, 1940 in Hollidaysburg, PA, the son of the late John Ebenezer Peters and Marian Minerva Williams Peters.

He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.

A resident of this community for most of his life, Mr. Peters was the owner and operator as well as a machinist for Hi-Line Machine Inc. John was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Mr. Peters is survived by two sons, Johnny L. Peters of Covington and Kenneth B. Peters and wife, Melinda of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Margaret Taylar Peters, Joseph Blake Peters and Kristopher Blake Peters; one great grandchild, Aidyn Peters; two sisters, Sue Peters Potter and husband, Bill of Covington and Marian Peters "Chucky" Gibson of Richmond; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Peters was preceded in death by his siblings, Oscar Staunton Peters and wife, Maxine, Linda Kay Peters "Cookie" Watts and Helen Peters Cale.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2019 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Father Tom Collins officiating.
