William Elwood (Fuzzy) Shaw Jr., 84, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Born May 6, 1935 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late William E. Shaw Sr. and Mildred Scott Wright.

William retired from Buena Vista Public Works. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Alma; son, Randall Wayne Shaw; stepmother, Opal Hickman; siblings, Stephen D. Wright (Evelyn), Stanley Wright (Doris), Russell Shaw, Larry Shaw, Dennis Shaw and Debbie Martin.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 30 at Victory Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 29 at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.
