Josephine Huffman Martin, 94, of Lexington, Virginia died November 2, 2019 at Kendal.

Born September 29, 1925 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Ashby Huffman and Ethel Hickman Huffman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Anthony (Jack) Martin; daughter, Peggy Martin Brown; son-in-law, Stacey Brown; and grandson, T.J. Brown.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was a member of the Falling Spring Presbyterian Church. Josephine retired from Rockbridge County Schools with 15 years of service as a bus driver.

A private burial was held at Broad Creek Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Kendal for the care provided to Mrs. Martin.
