Obituary for William Carl (Bill) Robertson William Carl (Bill) Robertson
Warm Springs Resident Was Korean War Veteran, Former Homestead Truck Driver

William Carl (Bill) Robertson, 89, of Warm Springs, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at his residence.

He was born March 10, 1930 in Bath County, Virginia, the son of the late Lee Roy Robertson and Mary Brown Green Robertson.

He was employed as heavy equipment operator and truck driver for the Homestead Resort.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War.

Mr. Robertson was a member of Chimney Run Church of the Brethren and was a former member of the Staunton Moose Club. He was an avid hunter and golfer. He was a loving brother, father and grandfather.

He is survived by four children, Delores Robertson of North Chesterfield, Virginia, Michael Kincaid of Warm Springs, Carla Kincaid Hickman and husband, Gary of Hot Springs, Virginia Louie Kincaid of Bolar, Virginia; grandchildren, Whitney Robertson, Amber Kincaid, Corey and Gary Hickman, Brooke Crawford and Will Kincaid; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by son, Donnie Robertson; eight brothers, John Green, James Robertson, Robert Robertson, Roy Robertson, Teddy Robertson, Sherman Green, Jasper Robertson and Jack Robertson; seven sisters, Josephine Robertson, Lucy Green, Carrie Robertson, Virginia "Jenny" Robertson Hise, Edna Robertson Swearengin, Emma Robertson Swearengin and Lizzie Robertson Swearengin.

A funeral service was conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Chimney Run Church of the Brethren with Pastor Billy Robertson officiating. Interment was made in Warm Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gary Bogan, Larry Bogan, Albert Ailstock, John Wes Hise, Chris Hise and Don Ailstock.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hot Springs Fire and Rescue Association, P. O. Box N, Hot Springs, Virginia 24445.

The McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
