Lettie Imogene Crist, 78, of Buena Vista, Virginia, formerly of Rupert, West Virginia, passed away on December 12, 2019.

Born on January 18, 1941 at Pluto, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Norma Russell Bennett.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Freida Hanna and brothers, Danny, Eddie, Rodney, Kenneth, Stevie and Larry.

Lettie was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Basil Crist of Buena Vista; daughter, Ann Downer of Charlotte, NC; sister, Linda Holcomb of Rupert; brothers, James Bennett, Jimmy Bennett, Teddy Bennett; grandson, Josh Davis of Charlotte, NC; many nieces and nephews and one nephew who she raised, Danny Bennett of Mississippi.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with Pastor Ralph Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at the End of The Trail Cemetery, Clintonville.

Friends may call Saturday evening 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
